Job summary

AECOM is seeking a qualified Sr. Pavement Engineer/PM to join our Ontario team in a hybrid capacity.

The role focuses on leading pavement engineering and management projects for public and private sector clients, with emphasis on schedules, budgets, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Pavement/Geotechnical Engineering, 6 years of experience, and be a licensed Professional Engineer (PEO).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pavement Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• 6 years of experience in pavement engineering or equivalent.
• Registered Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).

Responsibilities

• Act as lead pavement lead and/or project manager for pavement engineering and/or pavement management projects for diverse clients.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, utilities, agencies and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership through technical supervision and mentoring of junior team members.
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Plan, organize, and carry out pavement evaluations and investigations.
• Prepare technical reports and pavement design reports.
