Job summary

EXP is seeking a Lead Traffic Engineer and Project Manager to guide transportation planning and operational analysis for Ontario projects across Brampton, Markham, Hamilton or London. You will lead a team, manage client relations, and deliver traffic studies and master plans.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree with 10+ years of experience, P.Eng is required, RAQS certification or qualification to certify, and proficiency with Synchro, VISSIM, Aimsun and EMME.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years' experience.
• RAQS certification or qualifications to certify Traffic Impact Analysis.
• P.Eng. designation with PEO is required.
• Experience in project management, report preparation, and client relationship management.
• Proficient in traffic assessments and transportation planning software.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex traffic impact studies for land development.
• Environmental assessment and construction traffic impact analyses.
• Transportation master plans; operational analysis including micro-simulation.
• Project Manager for Traffic tasks and projects.
• Maintain client communications; prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality control.
• Oversee assessments and preparation of reports and deliverables by junior staff.
• Attend meetings with municipal authorities and MTO as EXP representative.
• Assist in business development to grow the group.
• Contribute to team culture and environment.
