Qualifications

  • Registered nursing degree or equivalent with RN licence in Ontario.
  • Experience leading clinical teams in pediatrics, NICU or maternal/fetal medicine settings is preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of RHPA legislation and patient safety policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities applied to policy and practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; respectful, confidential environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct NICU, pediatrics, genetics, urgent care and related clinics.
  • Lead human and fiscal resources to ensure high quality, efficient patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical director, educators and allied health to implement strategic plans.
  • Model Mackenzie Health values and foster a high performing, inclusive team.
  • Guide staff through performance issues and implement evidence-based practice changes.
