Mackenzie Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to monitor, assess, treat, and educate on cardio-respiratory disorders across hospital sites in Vaughan, Canada. The role involves arterial line procedures, intubations, LMA insertions, and tracheostomy changes, working both independently and within an interprofessional team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Applicants should have C.R.T. registration, BCLS, and NRP (to be completed within six months).
The Registered Respiratory Therapist at Mackenzie Health plays an essential role in providing quality and patient/family centered care. The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for monitoring, assessment, providing treatment and education of cardio-respiratory and associated disorders to all areas of the hospital. Other responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including arterial line insertions, adult and neonatal intubations, LMA Insertions and tracheostomy tube changes. Working independently and collaboratively as part of the interprofessional care team, you'll contribute to creating a world-class health experience for patients and their families, by demonstrating professionalism at every turn, upholding our values of excellence, leadership and empathy, and exemplifying our Commitment to Caring.
