Job summary

CBCL Limited in Halifax, NS, seeks a Senior OT & SCADA Cybersecurity Specialist to lead security across industrial control systems. You will design risk-based cybersecurity frameworks, assess OT/SCADA environments, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure automation solutions.

You bring 10+ years in automation and controls, 5+ years in SCADA cybersecurity, and certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, or NERC.

Qualifications

10+ years in automation and controls
5+ years in SCADA cybersecurity risk assessments and design
Post-secondary diploma or degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
Training/certification in ISA/IEC 62443, NIST or NERC standards
Strong understanding of IC S/SCADA control systems
Proficiency with cybersecurity software tools and industrial protocols
Experience with water/wastewater control systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop OT & cybersecurity risk assessment frameworks and system designs
Meet with clients to discuss needs and build long-term relationships
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments focused on IC S/SCADA systems
Collaborate with design engineers on hardware/software selections
Develop and review control system network architectures (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, DNP3, OPC UA)
Support ongoing standards, specifications, and QA processes
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to deliver security solutions
