Job summary

Raise is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to design, implement, and oversee enterprise SCADA systems for safe, real-time pipeline monitoring across Canada and the U.S. The role involves senior operational support, incident response, and cross-functional collaboration with IT/OT and cybersecurity teams.

You will lead modernization efforts, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive continuous improvement in control room operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer, Automation or equivalent).
• 10+ years of AVEVA OASyS SCADA and real-time control experience in pipelines.
• Strong collaboration across operations, IT/OT and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise SCADA systems for safe, reliable real-time monitoring and control of pipeline operations.
• Provide senior-level operational support, including troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for SCADA issues.
• Develop and maintain real-time applications that support safety, reliability and performance.
• Execute and govern changes through MOC processes in line with CRM regulatory requirements.
• Align SCADA with control room operations, including alarm philosophy and abnormal conditions.
• Translate operational needs into functional specifications for SCADA solutions.
• Support regulatory compliance, inspections, and audits with documentation and remediation.
• Lead lifecycle management and modernization initiatives addressing obsolescence and upgrades.
• Support governance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and OT cybersecurity.
• 10+ years AVEVA OASyS SCADA in liquids pipeline operations; troubleshoot complex issues and manage priorities.
• Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and leading change.
