Job summary

Systematix is seeking a Senior Organizational Change Manager to lead change management activities for enterprise business initiatives and IT projects in Canada. The role involves applying Prosci/ADKAR methodology, assessing impacts, and developing strategies and deliverables across assigned projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, business leads, sponsors and technical teams to ensure readiness, engagement and successful adoption of change.

Responsibilities

• Assess the magnitude and organizational impact of change from current state through implementation.
• Develop and execute organizational change management strategies and plans.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to identify affected groups and understand change impacts.
• Identify targeted OCM activities and integrate them into overall project plans.
• Develop Change Management Strategies, Change Management Plans and communication plans.
• Develop sponsor engagement activities, sponsor reports, training plans, reinforcement plans and resistance management plans.
• Conduct organizational readiness assessments and evaluate results.
• Identify change-related risks, issues and anticipated areas of resistance and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation related to change management activities.
• Work independently and collaboratively with project managers, business leads, sponsors and technical teams.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of organizational change management practices.
• Prepare and deliver communications, updates, training and workshops.

Systematix is currently seeking a Senior Organizational Change Manager for our client, a major provincial energy utility organization, to lead organizational change management activities supporting enterprise business initiatives and IT projects.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Systematix is supporting a major Canadian energy utility organization with the delivery of enterprise-wide business and technology transformation initiatives.
The Organizational Change Manager will work closely with project managers, business leads, sponsors and project teams to assess organizational impacts, prepare stakeholders for change, and develop and execute change management strategies and deliverables. The organization has adopted the Prosci/ADKAR methodology, and the successful candidate will apply this methodology and established change management practices across assigned projects.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS – Must-have

• Current Prosci/ADKAR certification – copy of certification must be provided
• Demonstrated experience delivering organizational change management on enterprise-scale initiatives
• Experience developing and delivering formal OCM strategies, plans and supporting deliverables
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation experience
• Experience conducting readiness assessments and identifying organizational change risks and resistance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Ability to attend an interview if shortlisted

• 10+ years of relevant Organizational Change Management experience
• Gas industry or utility experience
• Natural gas transmission and storage experience
• Strong knowledge of Change Management frameworks
• Experience leading Change Management for IT projects and digital transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Experience developing communication, training, sponsor engagement and resistance management plans
• Experience conducting organizational readiness assessments
• Knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement experience
• Exceptional facilitation, workshop and presentation skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Onsite – Regina, Saskatchewan
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Start: As soon as possible
End: March 31, 2028
Extensions: Up to four additional 1-year terms
Work arrangement: 100% onsite – hybrid and remote arrangements will not be considered

PAY DISCLOSURE

Intermediate: $90-110/hr
Senior: $105-130/hr
Compensation is commensurate with experience, Prosci/ADKAR certification, industry expertise, and market conditions. The hourly rate is intended to be inclusive of applicable travel and living costs associated with the onsite requirement.
