Job summary

Technitask in Canada is seeking a Change Management Consultant to support SaskEnergy's IT transformation from Regina, working on-site five days a week. The role focuses on developing and executing Change Management Strategy, stakeholder engagement, communications, training plans, and readiness assessments for complex IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Prosci/ADKAR certification is required.
• On-site Regina SaskEnergy Head Office, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
• Gas industry / utility knowledge is essential.
• Experience with Natural Gas Transmission & Storage projects.
• Knowledge of Change Management Frameworks.
• Experience leading Change Management on IT projects and understanding IT systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Maintaining project documentation for change activities.
• Facilitating stakeholder discussions to understand impacts.
• Experience delivering a Change Management Strategy, Plan, communications, training and resistance management.
• Experience with readiness assessments, risk/issue identification, and mitigations.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Knowledge sharing to improve change management standards.
• North American job experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Change Management efforts for IT projects and digital transformations.
• Develop Change Management Strategy and detailed Plans including communications and training.
• Coordinate sponsor reports and resistance management; manage stakeholder engagement.
• Conduct readiness assessments and identify risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
• Document activities and share knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need

Mandatory Qualifications

• Resource must be Prosci/ADKAR certified.

• Resource must be able to work and be located full-time on site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

• Gas industry / utility knowledge.

• Natural Gas Transmission & Storage company knowledge or experience.

• Knowledge of Change Management Frameworks.

• Experience leading Change Management on IT projects. Knowledge of IT systems and digital transformation projects to understand technical impacts on users.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to align change initiatives with project timelines.

• Maintaining project documentation related to all the change management activities.

• Facilitating discussions for the purpose of gathering and understanding the stakeholders and impacts of the change.

• Experience delivering a Change Management Strategy, Change Management Plan including a communication plan, sponsor reports, training plan and resistance management plans.

• Experience with conducting readiness assessments, evaluate results, identify risks, issues and anticipated points of resistance and make recommendations as necessary.

• Experience working independently and collaboratively with team members.

• Experience in knowledge sharing to ensure progressive realization of improvements within the change management standards.

• North American job experience.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to prepare and deliver updates, training, and workshops.
