Position: Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Kingston General Hospital Site
Salary: $42.24 - $53.28 per hour, benefits, pension, relocation assistance available

Overview: Join our Diagnostic Imaging team at KHSC, which has acquired Southeastern Ontario's first PET scanner. This role involves clinical duties, workflow management, staff supervision, equipment oversight, and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations.
- Monitor and coach technologists; oversee workflow; ensure adherence to protocols.
- Manage equipment troubleshooting and servicing.
- Orient and evaluate new staff and students; oversee training.
- Act as Radiation Safety Officer or delegate as required, ensuring CNSC compliance.
- Coordinate with booking and radiology teams for patient care and staffing.
- Maintain communication with radiologists regarding protocols and image quality.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and manuals.
- Contribute to policy development, research, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in equipment and supply selection and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technology program.
- Current registration with CMRITO.
- Radiation Safety Officer certification or willingness to pursue.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including PET technology.
- Experience with Nuclear Medicine equipment and protocols.
- Strong communication, organizational, decision-making skills, and computer literacy.
- Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
- Criminal reference and vulnerable sector checks.
