Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Radiation Technologist position.
Qualifications Required
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OARMS), including liability insurance.
- Minimum of two years of recent related hospital experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Mammography and Computed Tomography training is an asset.
- Perform all general diagnostic radiographic procedures as per departmental manual, including departmental quality assurance and education as assigned.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record, punctuality, and demonstrate the ability to attend work regularly.
- Operate equipment effectively and employ radiation safety measures as required.
- Provide exceptional patient care.
- Exhibit effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow written procedures.
- Work collaboratively, independently, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and changing demands.
- Develop positive working relationships within a team to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Be aware of and sensitive to the emotions and experiences of others when communicating with patients, families, and team members.
- Recognize the importance of managing your emotions and their impact on team morale and performance.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Experience with Cerner EPR and AGFA PACS is an asset.
- Proficient in computer use, including MS Word, Excel, and departmental equipment.
Other Pertinent Conditions
- Must be available to work all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and statutory holidays. Hours are subject to change.
- Salary ranges from $37.95 to $51.75 per hour, based on the Non-Union Salary Schedule.
