Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Municipal Engineering to lead the delivery of municipal infrastructure projects across water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation and roadways. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and manage scope, budgets and schedules for complex programs.

You will build and strengthen relationships with municipal, provincial and private sector clients, champion safety and quality, and contribute to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
• Extensive experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects.
• Proven project management experience managing scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
• Strong understanding of municipal standards, regulatory frameworks, and engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Commitment to safety leadership, quality delivery, and continuous improvement.
