Job summary

TBT Engineering Limited in Ontario seeks a Senior Civil Engineer (P.Eng.) to lead and contribute to municipal engineering projects, including site development, drainage, and transportation. You will review designs, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with codes and regulatory standards.

With 10+ years of experience, you will manage budgets, coordinate with clients and consultants, and help develop proposals while delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• 10+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent; knowledge of codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Prepare and review designs, drawings, reports, cost estimates, specs, and tender documents.
• Conduct technical analysis on grading, drainage, utilities, roads, and other infrastructure.
• Lead coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Support project management tasks including budgeting and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and municipal requirements.
• Contribute to proposals and business development with client input.
