Job summary

BrainRidge Consulting seeks a Senior Mobile Developer to lead design and implementation of iOS and/or Android features from concept to production. You will define mobile architecture, drive best practices, and mentor developers while collaborating with product, design and backend teams for delivery.

The role focuses on performance, security, offline behavior, and complex integrations such as payments and push notifications, with opportunities to influence roadmaps and CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of professional mobile development experience with multiple shipped apps.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack; cross-platform experience a plus.
• Experience defining mobile architectures and reusable components.
• Strong knowledge of performance, memory, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of advanced features for iOS and/or Android apps.
• Define and advocate mobile architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to estimate work and deliver.
• Optimize performance, reliability, offline behavior, and error handling.
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and guide refactoring.
• Handle complex integrations (payments, analytics, push notifications, SDKs).
• Contribute to roadmaps and proof-of-concepts for new mobile capabilities.
• Improve build pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
