Job summary

BrainRidge Consulting seeks a Senior Mobile Developer to lead design and implementation of iOS and/or Android features from concept to production. You will define mobile architecture, drive best practices, and mentor developers while collaborating with product, design and backend teams for delivery.

The role focuses on performance, security, offline behavior, and complex integrations such as payments and push notifications, with opportunities to influence roadmaps and CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of professional mobile development experience with multiple shipped apps.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack; cross-platform experience a plus.
• Experience defining mobile architectures and reusable components.
• Strong knowledge of performance, memory, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced features for iOS and/or Android apps, from concept to production release
• Define and advocate for mobile architecture, coding standards, and best practices across the team
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to shape solutions, estimate work, and de-risk delivery
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security, including offline behavior and error handling
• Review code, guide refactoring efforts, and mentor mid- and junior-level developers
• Own complex integrations such as payments, analytics, push notifications, and third-party SDKs
• Contribute to roadmaps, technical spikes, and proof-of-concepts for new mobile capabilities
• Help improve build pipelines, automated testing, and release management for faster, safer deployments

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of professional mobile development experience, with multiple shipped apps in production
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one native platform (Swift/SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin/Jetpack for Android); cross-platform experience (React Native, Flutter) is a strong plus
• Proven experience designing mobile architectures, modular codebases, and reusable components
• Deep understanding of platform guidelines, performance tuning, memory management, and security best practices
• Experience with CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Strong track record of technical leadership: mentoring, code reviews, and driving engineering improvements
• Comfortable working in Agile environments across product, design, and QA
