You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure secure, scalable, observable outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development with ownership of production systems.
• Experience leading complex fintech or consulting projects.
• Hands-on in at least one modern stack (e.g. Java, .NET, Python, TypeScript) and cloud platforms.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Delivery Lead.

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Delivery Lead who is equally comfortable building and leading. You will shape the technical direction of our FinTech client engagements, contribute directly to the most complex parts of the work, and own delivery from design through production. This role suits a builder who cares about outcomes, not just implementation, and who earns the trust of both engineers and senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Define and evolve the architecture and technical direction for client solutions.
• Turn unclear business requirements into clear technical approaches, estimates and execution plans.
• Roll up your sleeves and contribute hands-on to the critical and complex parts of the build.
• Weigh speed, quality and scope pragmatically, and explain your decisions clearly to the team and the client.

Delivery Ownership

• Own end-to-end delivery of project areas, from design through production and ongoing support, and be accountable for quality, schedule and budget.
• Surface risks, blockers and scope changes early, and keep the team unblocked so it keeps moving.
• Give the team clarity on the solution, who owns what, and what “done” looks like.
• Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, performant and well monitored, as financial services clients require.
• Set the bar for code quality, testing, reviews, documentation and observability.
• Spot technical debt early and steer the team toward simple, maintainable, long-term solutions.
• Introduce better tools and practices, including AI-assisted development, that improve speed and quality.
• Capture reusable patterns, playbooks and lessons learned that can be applied across BrainRidge engagements.

People and Client Partnership

• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews and day-to-day guidance, so they can take ownership.
• Build consensus on technical approaches and rally the team behind a shared plan.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders, translating between business needs and technical solutions.
• Communicate designs clearly through documentation, diagrams, proofs of concept and handover materials for technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software development, with significant ownership of production systems.
• Experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Delivery Lead or senior engineer leading complex projects.
• Strong hands‑on skills in at least one modern stack (e.g. Java, .NET, Python, TypeScript), plus cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Solid understanding of system design, APIs, microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time using Agile/SDLC practices, ideally in financial services or consulting.
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
