Job summary

BIMM is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to own the architecture and deliver a web-first companion app with native phone optimizations. You will personally write production Swift and Kotlin, guiding a small pod while serving as the senior mobile voice in the room.

You will balance web-first strategy with native optimization, ensuring offline ticket storage, push notifications, and reliable sign-in. Expect a multi-year engagement and a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience.
• Deep native iOS experience (Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit).
• Deep native Android experience (Kotlin/Android SDK).
• Substantial experience integrating web views in native apps.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile architecture end-to-end (native shells, web/native boundary).
• Lead build-vs-buy evaluation for the mobile stack and provide written recommendations.
• Define migration paths from web view to native screens in priority order.
• Set and uphold code quality, testing, and release standards across platforms.
• Mentor and review one to two mobile engineers as the team scales.
