Cohere is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to build and ship features for North, our AI workspace platform. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers and productionize state-of-the-art models while keeping security and privacy at the forefront.

We value engineers who can bootstrap new projects, read and fix issues across codebases, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Experience with Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience building native iOS or Android apps for AI-focused companies.
• Ability to read and fix issues outside the main codebase.
• Experience bootstrapping new projects from scratch.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement interface elements.
• Balance security/privacy: may require reinventing or avoiding popular libraries/tools.
• Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques.
• Research new technologies and best practices.
