Job summary

HRB in Toronto, ON seeks a Lead iOS Developer to drive mobile engineering excellence across projects. You will mentor peers, shape architecture, and deliver high-quality, test-driven code in collaborative teams.

Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery, continuous integration, and advocating mobile-first practices while partnering with cross-functional technologists to create human-centered user experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• iOS development, Swift, Architecture, Codebase Management, and strong Leadership/Team-building capabilities.
• Swift coupled with UI development using mobile SDKs and UI frameworks (SwiftUI).
• High-quality, well-tested code; comfortable with Object-Oriented programming.
• Mobile concerns: accessibility, privacy, constrained execution, and release cycles.

Responsibilities

Technical Skills:

• iOS development, Swift, Architecture, Codebase Management, and strong Leadership/Team-building capabilities
• You have experience using two or more mobile development language Swift coupled with experience in UI development using mobile SDKs and UI frameworks SwiftUI.
• You can skillfully write high-quality, well-tested code and you are comfortable with Object-Oriented programming.
• You can design and build solutions taking into consideration the fundamental concerns affecting mobile software such as single vendor limitations, constrained execution environment, disconnected operation, discrete release cycles, accessibility, privacy, etc.
• Comfortable with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Bonus points if you have working knowledge of mobile devops/pipeline tools, such as Fastlane, gradle, etc.
• Leadership skills are a must-to-have.
