Stantec is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Delivery Center team, supporting projects across Energy & Resources from a home office in Canada. You will lead engineering work, mentor staff, and interface with clients to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role requires broad experience in mechanical design, familiarity with codes and standards, and the ability to collaborate across global teams in mining, oil & gas, and power sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of mining-related experience.
• Professional Engineer designation and eligibility for registration elsewhere.
• Familiarity with multiple project delivery models and basic project management.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical engineering design tasks for projects across mining sectors.
• Lead project efforts, interface with clients, and ensure quality per standards.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to standardization of templates and procedures.
