Job summary

Insi is seeking two Senior Microsoft 365 Solution Developers to modernize legacy regulatory systems using a unified M365 ecosystem from Ottawa, ON. You will advise clients on tool combinations, then design, build, and support end-to-end solutions across Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Viva, and Copilot.

You will act as a trusted advisor and hands-on developer, delivering scalable components, integration work, and comprehensive documentation while mentoring internal teams and ensuring smooth

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering end-to-end Microsoft solutions from requirements to knowledge transfer.
• Microsoft certification PL-400 or PL-600 is required.
• 5+ years hands-on development with Planner API, SharePoint Graph API, Teams Graph API, Power Automate, Azure AD/Entra ID SSO, Teams Canvas Power Apps with PCF components, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• 5+ years with Visual Studio (.NET/C# / Python) and VS Code (JS/TS/Node.js).
• Fluent English, written and spoken; must be Canadian citizen.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are seeking two Senior Microsoft 365 Solution Developers to support a client based in Ottawa/ON in modernizing legacy regulatory systems using a unified Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will act as a trusted advisor and hands-on developer, helping the client determine which combination of M365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Power Platform, Viva, Copilot) best solves each business problem, then design, build, and support the resulting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess business needs and recommend the right combination of M365 tools and technology patterns, avoiding over-engineering
• Design and develop solutions spanning Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, and Planner
• Build and maintain integrations using the Microsoft Graph API and custom/standard connectors
• Develop reusable, scalable components to reduce technical debt and increase delivery velocity
• Create solution design documentation and deliver knowledge transfer/walkthroughs to internal technical teams
• Support testing, pilot-to-production transitions, and user acceptance activities
• Keep current with the M365 roadmap and advise the business on adoption opportunities

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering end-to-end solutions in a Microsoft ecosystem, from requirements discovery through design, build, and knowledge transfer
• Microsoft certification: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer Associate) or PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect Expert)
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in each of: Planner API, SharePoint via Graph API, Teams via Graph API, Power Automate (standard & custom connectors, automation and orchestration), Azure AD/Entra ID SSO integration, Teams Canvas Power Apps with PCF custom components, Power BI reporting/dashboards, and Dataverse integration
• 5+ years of experience developing with Visual Studio (C#, .NET, Python) and Visual Studio Code (JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js)
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• must be Canadian citizen.
