Job summary

Sun Life, based in Ontario, Canada, seeks a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to lead complex Microsoft 365 engineering initiatives from requirements through implementation and operational transition. You will work across Microsoft 365, Teams, browsers, endpoints, automation and security, collaborating with technology, cybersecurity, architecture, operations, vendors and business teams.

You will design scripts and integrations using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and govern enterprise

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Teams in a medium-to-large enterprise.
• Led technical projects from requirements to production deployment and transition.
• Troubleshoot complex enterprise technologies and perform root-cause analysis.
• Experience developing scripts/automation with PowerShell, APIs or workflow tools.
• Able to communicate technical recommendations and align stakeholders.
• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives from requirements and design through implementation and transition.
• Engineer and support Microsoft 365/Teams services and integrations, incl. Level 3 issues.
• Design scripts, API integrations and automation using PowerShell, Graph and REST APIs.
• Govern enterprise browsers and endpoints, including Edge/Chrome, Intune, GPO and CA.
• Evaluate technologies for feasibility, security, and business value and support remediation.
• Develop designs, testing plans and documentation, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
