Job summary

OpenText in Ontario, Canada invites a senior systems administrator to join our global Corporate Technology Platform Engineering team. You will own administration, support, design, and planning for production infrastructure in a 24x7 environment, acting as SME across platforms and ensuring high availability in a hybrid Microsoft/Azure environment.

The role requires 12+ years in large-scale IT, deep Microsoft 365/Azure expertise, Windows Server, scripting in PowerShell, and strong communication

Qualifications

12+ years of experience as a Senior Systems Administrator in large-scale environments.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure: architecting, implementing, troubleshooting, and admin.
Experience implementing and managing Copilot, Power Platform, SharePoint, Purview and DLP.
Experience in Windows infrastructure services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers.

Responsibilities

Technical owner of the Microsoft 365 tenant, ensuring health, performance and security.
Recommends and implements policies and standards for Microsoft 365.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, AD and Exchange in a hybrid environment.
Provide 24/7 tier-3 on-call support for production systems as required.
Design and implement technical solutions to support business requirements.
