WSP Canada is seeking an Experienced Metallurgy & Process Engineer to shape mining and mineral processing projects from studies to detailed engineering. You will design metallurgical processes, oversee lab testing, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Metallurgical/Chemical/Mineral Processing and at least 5 years of industry experience, with strong ability to communicate findings to clients and manage project

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Metallurgical/Chemical/Mineral Processing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in metallurgical processing or mineral processing.
• Strong knowledge of mass balances, P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Experience with metallurgical test work programs and lab/pilot data.
• Familiarity with engineering studies, design, procurement and project execution.

Responsabilités

• Develop metallurgical process designs, mass balances and P&IDs for mining projects.
• Lead equipment sizing, selection and plant design support.
• Prepare technical specs and tender documents.
• Coordinate lab and pilot testing; evaluate results and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients.
