Senior Manager, Talent Management and Culture
Headquartered in Toronto, the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is responsible for investing in new infrastructure projects. The CIB’s mission is to work with provincial, territorial, municipal, federal, Indigenous and private sector investor partners to transform the way infrastructure is planned, financed and delivered in Canada.
Reporting to the Head, Human Resources, this role plays a key role in shaping people and culture initiatives at the CIB. You'll lead employee and leadership development, engagement programs, and core HR processes like succession planning and performance management. Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the strategy, design and execution of impactful employee and leadership development programs that elevate engagement, enhance culture and drive the CIB’s success
- Own planning, improvement and delivery of performance management program
- Orchestrate a seamless succession planning framework, ensuring the organization identifies, nurtures and retains top talent while proactively mitigating workforce risks
- Lead the design and execution of dynamic employee engagement initiatives, including an annual engagement survey and pulse check surveys, in-depth data analysis and action-driven strategies that enhance workplace culture, drive organizational results and foster an inclusive, equitable and diverse workplace
- Stay ahead of talent trends, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions to optimize programs, processes, and technology—ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities
- Collaborate as a key partner with the HR COEs, Internal Communications, and leadership driving discussions that translate talent strategies into tangible business outcomes
- Champion a culture of inclusion, embedding diversity, equity and belonging into all talent programs to strengthen an environment where all employees can thrive
- Foster a mindset of continuous improvement, streamlining and refining programs for maximum impact, efficiency and engagement
- Elevate the CIB’s culture, values and employer brand, shaping long-term strategies that position the organization as a destination for top talent and a leader in employee experience
- Manage performance and provide direction and coaching to the Associate, Learning and Development
Your ideal profile:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience driving programs that enhance talent management, culture, employee engagement, leadership development, learning, succession planning, performance management and change management
- Strong facilitation skills with experience delivering impactful presentations to senior leadership and all employees
- Exceptional project management capabilities
- Trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic guidance on talent-related challenges in a dynamic, high-performance environment
- Qualified in recognized change management methodologies
- Experience in utilizing psychometric assessment tools (experience with SuccessFinder assessment is an asset)
- Experience with third-party leadership development programs, with professional leadership coaching certification as an asset
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of workforce dynamics and organizational effectiveness
- Outstanding communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, building strong relationships and credibility at all levels
- 5+ years of managing people experience is an asset
- Strong HRIS skills and knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
