The Senior Manager will be committed to a career in taxation and has the desire to take a lead role in managing provisions and tax engagements as well as contributing to the growth of the firm and their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
· Tax Provision Leadership: Lead the audit of tax provisions in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Canadian GAAP.
· Industry and Technical Expertise: Provide industry and technical expertise on tax and insurance issues through products such as client interactions, reports, technical work, and presentations to management.
· Client Engagement Management: Lead teams in delivering tax planning strategies, compliance solutions, and minimization opportunities for Canadian corporations.
· CRA Liaison: Connect with the Canada Revenue Agency and relevant provincial departments regarding client issues.
· Team Development and Training: Develop, coach, and train team members toward professional and personal goals.
Credentials and Expertise:
· Educational Background: Completion of a CPA designation and the In-Depth Tax Program or Master in Tax required.
· Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in public accounting and/or tax consulting.
· Tax Accounting and Business Expertise: Extensive knowledge of tax accounting under IFRS and CDN GAAP, Canadian tax practices, and core business, accounting, and management principles.
· Tax Compliance and Software Proficiency: Proficient in domestic tax compliance, implementing tax reorganizations, and working with accounting and tax software such as Caseware and Taxprep.
