Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to join our Toronto office, reporting to the Director, Finance & Controller. This role will focus on aligning Sales, Finance, and Accounting through extensive cross-collaboration to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting of billing and publisher remittances.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop a high-performing team fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
2. Collaborate with Sales, Services, and Finance to develop and maintain meaningful performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
3. Act as a technical leader on projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
4. Establish and improve processes for customer payments, revenue recognition, and reporting, partnering with Sales, Accounting, and IT teams.
5. Ensure visibility and alignment of contract pipeline with financial goals, managing contract data centrally.
6. Work with the Publisher payments team to integrate processes with the monthly financial close.
7. Create dashboards for custom agreements to ensure accurate administration of contract terms.
8. Monitor revenue share metrics and key performance indicators, analyzing their impact.
9. Review monthly reconciliations of contractual arrangements, ensuring accurate adjustments and payments.
10. Investigate discrepancies and resolve trends or issues proactively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally in Big Four firms and large multinational companies.
• Experience with revenue accounting in a scaled tech environment preferred.
• CPA or equivalent finance & accounting experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, data manipulation, and visualization skills (e.g., Salesforce, Looker).
• Proven success in establishing complex business processes in dynamic global settings.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams effectively.
