Expected Salary Range: $123,334.00-$154,169.00-$192,710.00

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Mobile Experience & Omni Services is responsible for leading BCLC’s mobile strategy. This highly collaborative role requires aligning overarching enterprise strategies with the specific needs of individual channels and applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Defines and leads the mobile and microsite (non-PlayNow websites) strategy, aligning with our corporate vision for a Digital Future.
  • Contributes significantly to defining the long-term strategic roadmap for enterprise services that support both channel-specific and omni-channel experiences.
  • Develops comprehensive business plans to execute the mobile and microsite strategy, clearly articulating benefit realization and supporting decisions with business analysis.
  • Establishes overarching design principles (player, business, and architecture) required to implement our mobile strategy across a complex ecosystem.
  • Participates in strategic planning, aligning efforts with organizational imperatives, and leveraging cross-functional capabilities for system-wide benefits.
  • Oversees enterprise account services that enable mobile experiences across BCLC’s ecosystem of player-facing apps.
  • Negotiates and manages vendor and maintenance contracts to ensure optimal terms and deliverables.
  • Manages significant budgets for operating, capital and direct costs.
  • Exemplifies leadership behaviours that support engagement of staff.
  • Fosters strong, productive, and positive relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Acts as a delegate for their Director as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline such as business administration;
  • 7 to 8 years related progressive experience in product management, with at least 5 years at the management level;
  • Experience developing and executing complex, enterprise-wide strategies;
  • Experience in managing business relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Advanced knowledge of principles, concepts, practices, techniques and tools in the areas of project management;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business situations, develop solutions, evaluate outcomes, and readjust solutions for improvement;
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment;
  • Excellent strategic orientation with an ability to find innovative yet practical strategies to achieve goals.
  • Strong working knowledge of third-party vendor contracts and maintenance agreements;
  • Strong technical background and experience with systems development, quality assurance best practices and hardware technology;
  • Advanced technical writing skills.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Preferred qualifications may include:

  • Understanding of Agile methodology or experience working with a cross-functional team environment would be an asset;
  • Understanding of B.C. gaming industry would be an asset.
