Role Overview

The Senior Manager of Logistics and Export Compliance oversees material management at MTU Maintenance Canada, coordinating the Logistics Department to ensure optimal operations and compliance with export laws and regulations, including military contracts and international export laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate logistics activities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Oversee employee management within the Logistics & Stores department.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, including Canadian, U.S., and EU laws.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, report to senior leadership, and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate training and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 6 years of logistics management experience, preferably in operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with aviation and unionized workforce management is preferred.
