Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager, GTB Business Risk in Toronto to lead non-financial risk programs within Global Transaction Banking. The role supports the Director in implementing risk framework tools, ensuring strong controls and reliable management reporting across GTB’s business units.

The candidate will manage RCSAs, NIRA, KRI, and regulatory mapping while engaging with senior management and control functions to strengthen risk governance.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of internal controls and risk management.
• Ability to work with senior management across lines and teams.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support Risk & Control Self-Assessment programs and coordinate action plans.
• Advise business lines and technology groups to assess risks for new initiatives.
• Ensure risks and KRIs are updated and thresholds justified for GTB units.
• Participate in scenario analysis by researching internal and external loss events.
• Support AML/KYC processes and regulatory risk programs; drive compliance in risk areas.
