The Opportunity
Chartwell is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis who will bring financial modeling expertise, strong business acumen, and critical thinking skills to support our organization’s financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes. This corporate leadership role reports to the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and partners closely with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Treasury, IT, and Strategic Planning.
What You’ll Do
Drive and coordinate Chartwell’s monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including reporting to the Board and senior management.
Build and maintain corporate financial models and dashboards to support performance monitoring and key financial metrics.
Lead the monthly reporting process for consolidated results for the Board and senior management, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support senior leadership and key business areas across the organization.
Collaborate closely with Treasury on capital structuring, debt and equity strategies, and funding analysis.
Support senior leadership in external communications that effectively tell Chartwell’s financial story.
Streamline and enhance reporting systems and planning tools, including Hyperion, OneStream, and Power BI.
Support the implementation, testing, and optimization of FP&A system upgrades and enhancements.
Prepare financial materials for senior management and the Board of Directors as required.
What You’ll Bring
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
CPA, CFA, or CMA designation preferred.
7+ years of experience in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, or analysis.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex corporate financial models for forecasting, reporting, and scenario analysis.
Experience with financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, or SmartView.
Strong skills in building dashboards or data visualizations in Power BI or similar tools.
Proven analytical and modeling capabilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative team player who can influence across functions.
