Job description

The Senior Manager, Digital Governance plays a pivotal role in developing and implementation of governance frameworks for the Digital Storefront project that drive consistency, compliance, and innovation across our global digital platforms. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in digital governance, standard development, and stakeholder engagement across diverse regions and regulatory environments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and engineering—to create and operationalize governance structures and support standard creation. You will define strategies, influence stakeholders, and oversee execution to ensure that our digital governance initiatives deliver measurable business value while meeting regional and local requirements and align to our Digital Storefront project goals.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and rollout of governance structures for initiatives such as Domain Rationalization, Common Capabilities, and the Global Common Design System.
  • Draft and maintain governance standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure alignment and compliance across digital teams.
  • Partner with Product Owners and business leaders to gather requirements and ensure governance frameworks support strategic objectives.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of training materials that promote awareness and adoption of governance policies.
  • Support the evaluation of governance effectiveness, managing and implementing improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in digital governance, policy/standard writing, or compliance-related roles.
  • Experience working in digital environments across global teams (North America, Asia).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting governance in digital transformation projects.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with domain management and digital design systems.
  • Strong communicator with experience engaging executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Passionate about digital transformation and customer-centric design.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, outcome-driven planning and agile methodologies.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in complex environments.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD
