Job summary

RBC in Toronto seeks a Senior Manager Loan Portfolio Management, Business Credit to design and execute a transformational approach to Canadian business credit. You will collect data, analyze it, and drive portfolio governance, reporting, and proactive management across Sales, GRM, CB Operations, Finance, and National Office groups.

You will lead end-to-end process design, leverage Python, SQL, Power BI and Tableau to enable deep analytics, monitor trends, identify risks and growth opportunities,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience working with complex and large data structures.
• Strong system/software technical skills with intermediate/advanced Python, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Knowledge of BFS credit products, policies, and procedures, preferably with GRM.
• Experience designing and building complex portfolio monitoring systems with leading-edge tools.
• Superior analytical skills with ability to analyze trends and provide insights.
• Strategic mindset and vision for sound portfolio management with proactive independence.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of end-to-end loan portfolio management process across the Commercial Banking lending portfolio.
• Use of best-in-class tools to streamline management routines and reduce reporting overhead.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial Banking to align portfolio definitions and segmentations.
• Monitor portfolio trends and advise key stakeholders on risks and opportunities.
• Seek industry trends and alternative solutions to portfolio issues identified.
• Enhance capabilities with analytics technologies (Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
