Job summary

The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Senior Manager, Major Gifts to secure substantial philanthropic support for the Foundation and Zajac Ranch.

You will manage a donor portfolio with a focus on gifts of 10,000 CAD and above, cultivate relationships, solicit major gifts, and steward partnerships while aligning with the Foundation’s mission. You will shape fundraising strategy, lead signature events, and collaborate with the Executive Team to drive revenue and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success cultivating, soliciting, and securing major gifts.
• Experience building donor pipelines and long-term relationships with supporters.
• Proven ability to develop sponsorships and manage events for revenue generation.
• Strong proposal writing and storytelling to connect donor interests to priorities.
• Excellent relationship-building and communications, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Executive Team.
• Manage an active portfolio of major donors, solicit and steward gifts.
• Lead sponsorship development and manage fundraising events.
• Collaborate with Development, Marketing, and Communications teams.
• Maintain donor records and pipeline reporting in the CRM.
