Job summary

Wickaninnish Inn is a Relais & Châteaux property on the West Coast of Vancouver Island seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician. You will handle a range of indoor and outdoor tasks, interact with guests, and contribute to the Inn's high service standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in maintenance, a BC Class 5 license, and experience with HVAC, power tools, and preventative maintenance programs. The wage is $26.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Excellent guest service and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guestrooms and public spaces daily.
• Perform landscaping and grounds work.
• Handle painting, carpentry, and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee interior and exterior building maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Maintain bicycle fleet and furniture restoration.
