Job summary

Mosaic, the world’s leading integrated producer of phosphate and potash, seeks a Maintenance Engineer for Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. You will support plant facilities, lead reliability projects, and coordinate maintenance planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4+ years (Engineer III) or 8+ years (Senior) in manufacturing reliability. The job is onsite with opportunities to improve equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering degree required, major in Mechanical or Industrial preferred.
• 4+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment managing programs associated with reliability.
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing programs associated with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance refinery to improve equipment reliability by performing detailed engineering calculations and data correlation.
• Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise and project management.
• Plan and schedule maintenance projects, complete risk-based assessments, and organize third party inspections.
• Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.

Are you our next Maintenance Engineer?

The Maintenance Engineer provides in depth support for plant facilities mechanical or electrical systems (rotating and stationary) to increase the facility's overall reliability. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. Work in conjunction and independent of the 2nd maintenance engineer.

What will you do?

• Support operations and maintenance refinery to improve equipment reliability by: performing detailed engineering calculations and correlate data for decision process; project management for maintenance activities; communicating the maintenance and efficiency opportunities
• Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise, project management, and management of change.
• Plan and schedule maintenance projects. Complete risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections and work.
• Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.

What do you need for this role?

• Bachelors in Engineering degree required, major in Mechanical, Industrial, preferred.

Engineer III
