Job summary

The Mosaic Company, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams in an industrial setting. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, develop schedules, and drive productivity improvements while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of supervision, strong communication skills, and experience with SAP/CMMS. This role requires coordinating with hourly workers and contractors to maintain reliable plant

Qualifications

• Minimum High School/GED; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of site safety standards and procedures.
• Must be able to lead hourly unionized employees and outside contractors, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Establish internal work standards and ensure adherence.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance per schedule.
• Create daily work schedules aligned with weekly plans and outages.
• Review work orders for accuracy and drive productivity improvements.
• Oversee weekly maintenance workflow and develop a high-performing team.

Maintenance Supervisor

Where will you work?

• Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, Canada

About the role

The Supervisor, Maintenance supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance in an industrial setting. Assists workers in troubleshooting equipment problems based on observations and applying knowledge of past experience.

What will you do?

• Establish internal work standards and hold organization to the agreed standards.
• Execute all corrective and preventative maintenance job plans as per schedule.
• Create the daily work schedule based on the weekly schedule and production outages.
• Review Work Order Feedback to insure it is accurate and complete and implement productivity improvement plans.
• Execute weekly maintenance routine workflow schedule in the assigned of the facility.
• Develop staff and motivate workforce for high performing maintenance team.

What do you need for this role?

• High School/GED required.
• Technical Secondary School preferred.
• 5+ years of supervision experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledgebase of site standards and safety expectations.
• Clear communication and organizational skills, self-motivated with ability to lead hourly unionized employees, and outside contractors.
• 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• Maintenance experience a plus
• SAP experience
• Microsoft Office Suite
