Job summary

The Mosaic Company in Esterhazy, SK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide in-depth support for plant facilities mechanical and electrical systems, improving equipment reliability and guiding maintenance planning.

Onsite, you will perform engineering calculations, plan maintenance projects, manage risk-based assessments, and collaborate with operations, planners and supervision to drive reliability and efficiency across the refinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering degree required; Mechanical or Industrial preferred.
• Engineer III requires 4+ years in manufacturing reliability programs.
• Engineer Senior requires 8+ years in manufacturing reliability programs.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance refinery to improve equipment reliability by performing detailed engineering calculations and data correlation for decision processes.
• Project management for maintenance activities.
• Communicate maintenance and efficiency opportunities.
• Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise, project management, and management of change.
• Plan and schedule maintenance projects.
• Complete risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections and work.
• Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.

Are you our next Maintenance Engineer?

The Maintenance Engineer provides in depth support for plant facilities mechanical or electrical systems (rotating and stationary) to increase the facility's overall reliability. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. Work in conjunction and independent of the 2nd maintenance engineer.

What do you need for this role?
