Job summary

GDI Ainsworth Vancouver is seeking a Senior Low Voltage Technician to install and maintain structured cabling and network infrastructure across customer sites. You will conduct site surveys, design cable pathways, and ensure projects are planned and executed efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include installing copper and fiber cabling, testing networks, building LAN rooms, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems.
• Ability to install, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Proficiency reading technical drawings.
• Clean valid driver’s license.
• Able to travel for out-of-town work.
• Must pass RCMP background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling per specs.
• Troubleshoot network issues.
• Install network equipment and LAN room buildouts.
• Design cable pathways and support systems.
• Plan projects to meet schedule and budget.
