Job summary

Optima Living is seeking a Hospitality Manager in a senior living community to lead dining room and housekeeping operations, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments for residents. You will monitor service delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive resident satisfaction aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year leadership experience in a residential care or mental health environment is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in housekeeping or food services.
• Maintains an active Food Safe certificate.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of Labour and Employment Standards, including union and collective agreements, is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, support, guidance and mentorship to the dining room and housekeeping teams.
• Oversees dining room and housekeeping through coordination of work routines.
• Ensures team compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Develops guidelines for safe use of housekeeping and laundry equipment.
• Monitors inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies and ensures cost-effective usage.
