Job summary

VIVA Retirement Communities in Vaughan is hiring a Concierge to be the first point of contact for community members and guests. You will deliver outstanding service, handle inquiries, coordinate tours and transportation, and support events with a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays. Vaccination policy and safety protocols are in place.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary training or relevant experience preferred.
• Some experience with seniors is desired.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers and superiors.
• Able to manage time effectively with little supervision.
• Up to date police check – vulnerable sector, verified annually.
• Able to work flexible hours and weekends.
• English is required for day-to-day communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle member and guest inquiries in person and by telephone, routing to the appropriate manager when needed.
• Provide information on services, events and local activities.
• Arrange tours, transportation, tickets, bookings, and reservations.
• Provide access control and supervise entrances/exits.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with the team for support.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality in day-to-day tasks.
• Contribute to departmental goals and participate in meetings.
