Job summary

V!VA Retirement Communities is seeking a Receiver / Door Person for its Toronto area retirement community. The role involves creating a positive first impression and supporting the safe, efficient operation of the community, including move-ins, deliveries, and guest assistance.

You will work with the Concierge Team and other departments to ensure exceptional service, safety, and a welcoming environment. Weekend availability and a can-do attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or related environment is an asset.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced setting with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming, and professional presence for Community Members, families, guests, and visitors.
• Assist with move-ins, deliveries, and general inquiries.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries and shipments; match to orders and verify accuracy.
