Job summary

V!VA Retirement Communities is seeking a Welcome Coordinator in Canada to be the first friendly face for new Community Members and families. You’ll manage every detail of the move-in process, create personalized experiences, and ensure short-term stays feel as special as permanent ones.

This role blends hospitality, customer service, and operational excellence to help residents feel at home from day one. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of customer service experience in retirement living

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience in retirement living, hospitality, or related industry.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Move-In & Short-Term Stay Coordination: organize move-ins, greet residents and families, arrange welcome baskets.
• Experience Customization: tailor dining, recreation, and wellness services with teams.
• Operations & Reporting: maintain trackers, conduct walkthroughs, document interactions in CRM.
• Support marketing: capture testimonials and participate in conversion opportunities.
• Serve as first point of contact for new Community Members and families; resolve issues promptly.
