Job summary

Optima Living is seeking a General Manager to lead a western Canada senior living community, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations. You will oversee operations, resident experience, financial performance, HR and service delivery in a safe, compliant and values-based environment.

You will work with regional leadership to implement efficient systems, manage resources, and drive quality outcomes while upholding Optima Living's mission and resident-first philosophy.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized post secondary program is as asset.
• Minimum of two (2) years management experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
• Proven experience in policy and procedure implementation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs daily community operations through onsite leadership.
• Oversees resident experience, financial performance, HR and service delivery.
• Fosters a person-centred culture focused on dignity and safety.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, audits, reporting and records management.
• Supports community relations and external stakeholder partnerships.
