Amica The Glebe is hiring a Life Enrichment Assistant to enrich residents' lives through personalized recreation programs. You will support diverse activities, communicate daily plans, and connect with residents, families, and team members. A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are required, with opportunities to grow professionally.

The role offers part-time hours, on-site work at Amica The Glebe, and a supportive leadership team dedicated to resident well-being and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Gerontology, Therapeutic Recreation, Activation, Recreation, Sociology or Psychology preferred.
• Experience in geriatric programming is an asset.
• Knowledge of wellness dimensions and inclusive programming.

Responsabilités

• Support delivery and facilitation of activities and events.
• Create daily activity communications.
• Build connections with residents, families, and staff.
• Drive the bus for resident outings in the community.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
