Job summary

ivari is seeking a Senior Underwriter for a primarily remote role across Canada, including Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. You will apply medical, financial, and lifestyle underwriting expertise and collaborate with advisors and internal partners to elevate underwriting standards.

You will contribute to guideline development, process improvements, and technology adoption, while maintaining regulatory compliance and protecting client interests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in individual life and critical illness underwriting.
• Ability to underwrite complex cases at higher authority limits.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and relationship-management with advisors and partners.
• Experience in regulated environments with privacy and disclosure requirements.
• Experience contributing to guideline development and process optimization.
• Progress toward or completion of FLMI, FALU, CPU.
