International Programs Group (IPG) invites applications for a Senior Liability Examiner, based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement across Canada. The role involves managing moderate to intermediate property claims from start to finish, ensuring accurate reporting and timely service to clients.

The successful candidate will bring 3–7 years of claims adjusting or examining experience, hold or be pursuing CIP, and may have an independent adjusting license.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is an asset.
• CIP courses completed or CIP designation pursued.
• Independent adjusting license preferred.
• 3–7 years in claims adjusting or examining.
• Experience with Lloyd's market is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a high-performing team.
• Strong aptitude with technology.
• Attention to detail and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Examine moderate to intermediate complex property claims.
• Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager.
• Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations.
• Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives.
• Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts.
• Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines.
