Job summary

Appcast is seeking a Manager - People Operations to lead HR Operations, systems, policies and compliance, delivering scalable employee experiences and partnering across functions to align with business needs.

You will oversee onboarding/offboarding, HRIS administration, policy development, legal partnerships, and data-driven support to employees, while fostering a culture that supports performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations and employment laws for North America; UK experience a plus
• HRIS administrator experience or strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and implementing system features
• Ability to design and implement policies and processes that support culture and compliance
• Experience in business process improvement to enhance the employee experience
• Excellent project management skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure HRIS designs meet business requirements and support culture; ensure reports and dashboards meet needs of People team, employees and partners
• Lead optimization initiatives across the People team for continuous improvement in processes, systems and data
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training and surveys to support HR compliance and strategy
• Design, improve, and maintain handbooks, employment policies and procedures
• Oversee all employee lifecycle policies and processes (immigration, relocation, expatriate) and ensure procedures are up to date
• Ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are efficient, reducing admin burden while improving employee experience
• Build relationships with legal partners to stay current on employment law and regulatory changes across locations
• Leverage the People ticketing system to deliver high service level responses and analyze data for improvements
• Provide leadership and development for the People Operations team and drive continuous improvement
• Be comfortable making decisions in gray areas and creating clearer, more specific policies
