Job summary

Fraser Health Authority in British Columbia is seeking a Physician Quality Leader (PQL) to guide physicians and healthcare providers on quality and patient safety initiatives. Responsibilities

• Provide local site leadership to physicians and other health care providers on quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Lead or advise physician-driven quality improvement projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the clinical quality and patient safety department, senior leadership, department leaders and support systems to establish evidence-based patient care models and increase safety.
• Identify quality improvement learning needs and participate in educational activities for physician skill development in clinical quality and patient safety.
• Facilitate physician participation in patient safety activities.
