Bantrel is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead electrical activities across brownfield and sustaining capital projects in energy facilities. Based out of Edmonton, AB, you will mentor engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with codes and client specs.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery, and strong client relationships in a dynamic EPC/EPCM environment. Ideal candidate brings 10+ years in industrial electrical engineering, P.Eng.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• P.Eng. in Alberta or eligible for registration with APEGA.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or energy projects.
• Experience leading electrical engineering teams and projects.
• Experience on brownfield, sustaining capital, maintenance, or facility upgrade projects.
• Experience in oil & gas, refining, LNG, petrochemical, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of low/medium voltage systems.
• Experience preparing engineering deliverables and vendor docs.
• Experience performing power system studies with ETAP or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Lead Electrical Engineer with responsibility for scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and technical quality.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and drafters on multiple projects.
• Coordinate electrical activities with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Lead technical reviews and resolve design/constructability issues.
• Support proposals, project estimates, staffing plans, and change orders.
• Ensure deliverables meet codes, standards, and client requirements.
