Barr is seeking an electrical engineer to join our Canadian team in a hybrid role. You will support the electrical group, integrating process, mechanical, and control requirements into comprehensive electrical systems while managing projects and mentoring staff.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams on facilities such as industrial processing plants, power generation, mining, and municipal water/wastewater, and may travel up to 10-15%.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• At least 5 years of related design experience.
• PE or P.Eng. license in US or Canadian jurisdiction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Work authorization in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Technical design and analysis for power and controls across industrial facilities.
• Lead proposal development with scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets; monitor milestones.
• Support staff development and mentoring of team members.
• Build strong client and internal-team relationships across disciplines.
